Free initial consultation
Our coaching relationship starts with a free initial consultation that will take place over the phone or via Skype (or other video chat application) and will last approximately 30 minutes.
The main purpose of this relaxed chat is for us to get to know each other a little, for me to understand your current situation, what has prompted you to seek career coaching at this time and your potential goal(s).
It is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have, and to give us both an idea whether or not we wish to proceed with coaching. I will always be honest and tell you upfront if I feel that coaching is not the best form of development to help with your current situation.
This session is free of charge and non-obligatory.
Where does coaching take place?
Coaching sessions can take place either face-to-face or online via Skype or similar video chat application.
Coaching can also take place over the phone. Please contact me further to discuss telephone coaching if this is of interest to you.
Face-to-face sessions take place at Nine Springs Natural Health Centre in Yeovil, Somerset. Alternatively, we may be able to meet at another mutually agreeable location in and around Yeovil (please note that if we agree to meet outside of the Yeovil area, a small additional charge may be applicable to cover travel time and fuel costs. Please contact me to discuss this further).
How long is each session and how many do I need?
Each session is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours in length.
How many sessions you will need to achieve your goal(s) will depend on the complexity of your goal(s), if and how this changes as our sessions progress and your commitment to completing the actions you generate for yourself during each session. Usually at least 3 sessions are required for coachees to achieve their goal(s) or make significant progress towards achieving their goal(s).
The time between each coaching session will also vary between coachees. I will always encourage you in each session to consider what steps you can take between sessions to help move you closer to your goal(s). Therefore when we schedule the next session will very much depend on the actions you have set yourself, if any, and how long you feel you need to complete them. Fortnightly sessions tend to work well as it gives an opportunity for you to complete your actions whilst also maintaining momentum.
